Mowing w/ Fertilization and Weed Control (Weekly Mowing Only)

We only cut bermuda grass. This helps from spreading St. Augustine grass in bermuda lawns. Mowing is one of the most important parts for obtaining a healthy bermuda lawn. The grass needs to be cut on a consistent weekly basis to maintain color and to help keep weed populations down. Our mow season runs from March-October. We also only mow lawns that use us for fertilization and weed control. This helps to keep from spreading weed seeds to other lawns we maintain.

Lawn Scalping Services

We Scalp bermuda grass! We cut the grass to almost the dirt, collect the clippings, and dispose of the clippings properly. You may ask, “Why would someone want to cut off all the grass?” That’s a good question. This particular service is recommended before the springtime. Bermuda grass turns brown and the top growth dies during the winter. In the spring, all the new bermuda emerges from the dirt. To speed up the process of the green up, you must get rid of all the dead material because its blocking the sun from the new growth coming in from the soil level. It also will help with a more consistent green lawn once it grows in. We also scalp lawns to help with resetting the height of cut during the growing season. Overgrown lawns will turn brown during mowing season when not cut on a regular basis.

Fertilization and Weed Control (Monthly Applications)

Our fertilization and weed control program creates an excellent environment to help promote a heat, weed, and disease resistant lawn that can thrive in tough conditions. When the builders built your house, the last thing on their mind was for you to have fertile soil for your lawn. In fact, they laid your bermuda sod on sand and high content clay soil. They also left tons of construction debris in your soil ( concrete, wood, soda cans, etc.…). The soil is far from ideal for growing conditions which creates health issues for your lawn. So we came up with a program to build your soil profile from the ground up (literally) and its specifically designed for bermuda grass only.

Lawn Aeration w/ Topdressing

Lawn aerations are great for the lawn. But if top-dressed after aeration, it will change your lawns soil profile totally. Just aerating only last for about 30 days. The holes eventually close in on themselves after 30 days and you are left with the same exact soil. If top-dressed, the topdressing will fall down in the holes keeping the holes from closing in on themselves. This will help with drainage and getting water and nutrients down to the root zone.

A lawn renovation is for customers who want their lawn to look pristine. The process of a lawn renovation is usually an all day service. We start by scalping the lawn (cutting the grass down to the dirt) and removing all the clippings. Then we will aerate the lawn. After aeration, we use a kiln dried USGA sand (free from weed seeds) mixed with a soil enhancer. The soil enhancer is a highly concentrated compost mixed with a biochar. The biochar is great for soaking up water and nutrients. This will help your soil retain water and to help slowly release nutrients to the root zone making your lawn super healthy.

From flowerbed design to decorative stone, we can add curb appeal to any home. We also install mulch and we recommend using a natural hardwood mulch.

When it comes to irrigation, we can fix minor issues like sprinkler heads or to move a sprinkler head. We also can provide a winterization service on your sprinkler system.

Fence staining is an excellent way to make a backyard look appealing. It also helps preserve the wood so your fence will last for years to come. We start by using a chemical based solution to help break down any dirt that may be present on the wood. We then follow up with a pressure washer. After the fence has dried for several days, we comeback and apply the stain of your choice.

Landscape lighting is an art and we can make your yard look peaceful and serene. We use all brass fixtures which hold up to the environment alot better than aluminum fixtures. The bulbs we use carry a 5 year warranty and our fixtures carry a lifetime warranty.
